i was completely taken with the trees in south america
true, i am easily charmed by trees of any sort
the bark was remarkable!

buenos aires comes by its name honestly
a charming, breezy, melange of architecture and trees
covered in graffiti!
it is legal there
woot woot! i had a blast
what should not be legal are the portions of beef they serve. EVERYWHERE!
(tasty though!)
of particular note was the collection of contemporary latin american art at MALBA
political, vibrant, intriguing, humourous, alive. good stuff.
the antiques in san telmo were another joy
a year could be spent sorting through them. fun.
porteños are a friendly big-city bunch if you engage them a little
black and yellow taxis dot the city like confetti
often, a certain type of argentine gentleman was at the wheel, willing to impart some interesting insight
a toast of fernet branca to my lovely time spent in BA! salud!
