two cards mysteriously appeared on my desk in recent days

i feel the angst of civil servitude

(that could just be me)

i like very much that this answer is an equation

symbols. the writing of equations. that feels human

the content of this equation is intriguing

this brings into question for me the emotional intelligence and self-awareness of animals other than humans

we think abstractly. we consume. we hate. we justify. we generate dogma.

that feels quite dark yet an undeniable human cycle

the other traits i feel we share with animals. we have a leg up with humour i suppose, though i once knew a hilarious sarcastic black lab-ish dog

i know for certain to soon expect some postcards from children

i am without doubt that children will provide the best answers

i cannot wait!
